This 58km mainly sealed drive visits fabulous national parks...
Tourist Drive No 7 is well signposted from the northern end of Tenterfield, where visitors turn off the New England Highway into Mt Lindesay / Woodenbong Road. The main features of the 58km drive (sealed from Tenterfield to Bald Rock National Park) are its national parks: Bald Rock (with the largest granite monolith in Australia), Boonoo BoonooFalls, Basket Swamp and Boonoo BoonooState Forest. Mt Lindesay Road was well worn by local bushranger Thunderbolt during the gold-rush years. A stop off at Deetswood Wineries is also a must.
